Chapter 01

Hull Exterior

Turning over, keel and skeg, rubrails, exterior structure.

Flip, outwales, and first epoxy coat on bottom surfaces

Flipped the boat over Rounded over the daggerboard trunk slot Faired and rounded over the bottom side of the outwales Cleaned up the skeg fillet Applied first coat of epoxy to the daggerboard trunk slot, skeg, and the bottom side of the outwales

Also touched up cockpit epoxy where I'd missed spots yesterday because seeing it in daylight and upside down helped.

Interior & Cockpit

Cockpit fill coats

Finished sanding down earlier epoxy crimes, applied two more coats of epoxy to help fill out and cover spots where the sander had blown through.

Also started prepping steering gear for varnish.

Hull primer 1

Hull washed, sanded, and first coat of primer. Blew through the epoxy at one corner of the transom, so I’ll seal that up later before varnishing it.
