Got her home
Picked up May 16. The plan was to re-do the upholstery and strip/varnish exterior. Maybe fix a cracked spray rail. That was the plan.

What it took
The work
Chapter 01
Working out what to fit, what it costs, and whether it will actually fit.
Picked up May 16. The plan was to re-do the upholstery and strip/varnish exterior. Maybe fix a cracked spray rail. That was the plan.
Chapter 02
Cleats, rails, ladders, anchor rollers, tow points, T-tops and hardtops.
Removed all hardware, and discovered outwale rot under the rubrail. Discovered upholstery was stapled to seats and both were badly damaged.
As I removed interior dash vinyl, I discovered 1) a million staples, 2) the dash was several pieces stacked and 3) the dash had pulled away from the sides and was shored up with a 2x4. As I removed vinyl coverings, it was badly peeling up the plywood underneath.
Removed back seat, back 'fins' (I'm not sure what they're called- they prevent water from coming in over the back), and tried to remove broken starboard spray rail. The spray rail fasteners were hidden under the thwart riser...so I took out the front seat and thwart riser. Then I figured if I was removing one, I may as well do the port side, too. And the dash had to be re-constructed because the fastening end was all chewed up. And the deck was in poor shape and an easy replacement. So now I'm left with an empty hull. Literally.
