A 13 ft 2 in stitch-and-glue skiff for sail, oars or a small outboard, designed by John C. Harris of Chesapeake Light Craft and sold as plans and kits. It is a clean-sheet redesign of CLC's 1998 Jimmy Skiff, with a prototype launched in 2017. The new boat has a transom shaped for a 2 to 3 hp outboard, built-in flotation in bench seats so it can be righted after a capsize, and a rig 15 percent larger at 68 sq ft. Beam is 52 in, hull weight 150 lb, payload 525 lb.
CLC rates it a beginner project and estimates 120 hours, with slot-together frames, puzzle joints and pre-drilled stitching holes in the kit. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.
