Capri 22
Built by Catalina Yachts
A 22 ft fractional sloop designed by Gary Mull / Frank Butler, built from 1984. She carries 8 ft 2 in beam, 4 ft draft and 2,200 lb displacement. Hull form is fin with a transom-hung rudder. About 1,800 were built.
The performance version of Catalina's 22 footer, with more sail and a fin keel rather than the cruising boat's swing keel. Catalina have built in California and Florida since 1969 and are the largest American sailboat builder. Their boats are made in big numbers to a sensible price, which means parts, sails and owner knowledge are all easy to find. The figures below come from owners who logged work on this boat here.
