Hunter 30
Built by Hunter
A 30 ft 5 in masthead sloop designed by John Cherubini, built from 1973 to 1983. She carries 10 ft 2 in beam, 5 ft 3 in draft and 9,700 lb displacement. Hull form is fin with rudder on skeg. About 1,000 were built.
Hunter built in Alachua, Florida and aimed at volume production cruising boats with generous accommodation for the length. They are plentiful and affordable on the used market, and the brand continued as Marlow-Hunter after 2012. The figures below come from owners who logged work on this boat here.
