Marlow-Hunter 40
Built by Hunter
A larger cruising sloop in the Marlow-Hunter range, built for extended coastal cruising with full accommodation and a cockpit laid out for short-handed sailing.
Marlow-Hunter is what Hunter became after David Marlow bought the company in 2012. The boats kept the Hunter approach of generous accommodation for the length and a fractional B and R rig with swept spreaders and no backstay, which opens up the roach of the mainsail. Build moved to Marlow's own standards, and the range is smaller and better finished than the Hunter line that preceded it.
What building a Marlow-Hunter 40 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
