Marlow-Hunter 47
Built by Hunter
The largest of the Marlow-Hunter sloops, a full cruising yacht with several cabin layouts and the systems to live aboard.
Marlow-Hunter is what Hunter became after David Marlow bought the company in 2012. The boats kept the Hunter approach of generous accommodation for the length and a fractional B and R rig with swept spreaders and no backstay, which opens up the roach of the mainsail. Build moved to Marlow's own standards, and the range is smaller and better finished than the Hunter line that preceded it.
What building a Marlow-Hunter 47 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
