Tartan 345
Built by Tartan
A cruising sloop from Tartan's range, one of the shoal-draft centerboard boats the yard built for owners sailing thin water on the Great Lakes and the Chesapeake.
Tartan Marine of Ohio have built cruising and racing boats since 1960, many of them drawn by Sparkman and Stephens, and have a long reputation for build quality. Their centerboard models trade a little upwind performance for the ability to get in where a deep fin keel cannot follow.
What building a Tartan 345 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
