A 44 ft 9 in houseboat from Glen-L Marine with separate cabins for four couples, each with private access to a head, a 10 ft dinette, an inside helm, a bar, a full kitchen, a covered bow porch and a flying bridge sun deck. Plans for double-diagonal plywood, one-off cored fiberglass or welded steel; twin outboards or stern drives with power trim. Glen-L publish a beam of 14 ft 0 in and a hull depth of 4 ft 9 in.
Displacement is 19,255 lb. Headroom below is 6'-3" to 6'-7". The hull is a full length vee bottom with considerable deadrise and flare forward. For power they specify twin long shaft outboards or inboards with sterndrives, gasoline or diesel. A floating house, and a very long project. Expect 4,000 to 6,000 hours.
