Oar Plans and Patterns

Designed by Glen-L Marine

Not a boat: one plan set from Glen-L Marine with full-size patterns and instructions for four oar and paddle types, a double-bladed kayak paddle, a single-blade canoe paddle, a general-purpose rowing oar and a lightweight spoon-blade sculling oar. Transfer the pattern to the stock, cut to shape and fair to the drawn sections.

A short project for anyone with basic woodworking tools, and a useful way to finish off a rowing or paddling build from the same catalog.

What building a Oar Plans and Patterns actually takes

Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
