Parti O
Designed by Grandpa's Archive
Parti-O is a trailerable floating patio: a flat-decked pontoon hull with a part-enclosed cabin and a flat roof that serves as a sun deck. The article sells it for family cruising, fishing days, swimming and even dancing on a calm lake.
There are no compound curves anywhere. The basic structure is a lumber frame and plywood panels from a local yard, and the builder chooses trim and finishing materials afterwards to suit the budget. The original was run with an 18 hp outboard. Four pages, free from the archive, and an easy introduction to houseboat building.
What building a Parti O actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.

If you are building one, yours becomes the reference: the page the next person building this boat finds when they search for it. One photo and one line is a valid first entry.
