Bring a builder, win something from the store

Every builder on the site has their own referral link. Send it to someone who is building a boat. When they sign up through it and put their build log up here, that counts as one referral for you.

Whoever has the most referrals on Friday, October 30, 2026 wins any one item from the store up to $50, shipped free anywhere (shipping covered up to $15).

What counts as a referral

• They sign up through your link. It is remembered for 30 days, so they do not have to sign up the moment they click it.
• They confirm their email address.
• They put their build log on the site, either by posting entries or by importing a log they kept somewhere else, and it is published with at least one entry.
• All of that happens by October 30, 2026.

A first build log is looked at by a person before it goes public, which usually takes a day or less. A referral counts once that is done.

The rules

• No purchase is necessary. Having an account on the site is free and stays free.
• One winner: the builder with the most referrals that count. If two or more are tied, the winner is drawn at random from them on October 30.
• The prize is any one item from the store with a list price up to $50. Shipping is covered up to $15, to anywhere the store ships, domestic or international.
• Referrals have to be real people building real boats. Accounts made to pad a count, referring yourself, or duplicate accounts do not count, and we check every one.
• The winner is contacted at the email address on their account and has 14 days to reply with their choice and a shipping address, or a runner-up is chosen.
• Site administrators cannot win.
