Model boat kit
HMS Fly
Kit by Amati
HMS Fly was a Swan class sloop launched at Sheerness in 1776 and used for escort and communication work, during which she took several French privateers.
This Victory Models kit builds her at 1:64 on a laser-cut keel and frames with a double planked hull. It includes photo-etched brass parts, metal fittings, rigging thread and 12 sheets of plans.
What building a HMS Fly actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
