Model boat kit
Jolie Brise
Kit by Artesania Latina
Jolie Brise is a French gaff cutter that began as a pilot boat and later became a celebrated ocean racer, winning the first Fastnet race in 1925 and again in 1930.
The 1:50 kit is built on a false keel and ribs from laser cut wooden parts with a laser engraved deck. Fittings are in wood, brass and die cast metal, and sewn sails, decals and a display base are included.
What building a Jolie Brise actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
