Model boat kit
The Indian Girl Canoe
Kit by Artesania Latina
The Indian Girl was a canoe model introduced in 1902 by J. H. Rushton for the growing recreational paddling market, and it became his best selling design.
This 1:16 kit is made from laser cut plywood and hardwood sheets with linden and cherry strips, a brass photo etched sheet and fabric for the seats. It is aimed at beginners and comes with video instructions and a display base.
What building The Indian Girl Canoe actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
