Rusty the Shrimp Boat

Rusty is a model of a typical coastal shrimp trawler with outriggers, trawl boards and nets. Boats of this kind work the Gulf of Mexico and the South Atlantic coast, towing a net from each outrigger with the trawl boards spreading the mouth of the net open.

The 1:24 kit builds a 36 in model with balsa planking over poplar plywood frames and an expanded PVC cabin, and it is intended to run under radio control.
