About me
I graduated Great Lakes Boat Building School in 2025 (where I built a 14.5' sailing skiff, with a 24 year old build partner) and currently work for the school in Admissions and Recruiting. While looking for my first boat to buy, I found a beautiful 1961 Carver - a really unique cold mold plywood boat. It looked sound, just needed an updated finish and some new seat cushions...(Isn't that how it starts? It just needs to be sanded and refinished) Here's our story:
