Model boat kit
Soleil Royal
Kit by Artesania Latina
Soleil Royal was a French ship of the line built at Brest around 1668 to 1670 and later flagship of Admiral Tourville in the Nine Years War, noted for her heavy Baroque decoration.
The 1:72 kit is made from laser cut plywood and solid wood parts with die cast and photo etched fittings and a full set of sewn sails. A display base and a set of crew figures are included.
What building a Soleil Royal actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
