Model boat kit
Charles W. Morgan Whale Bark
Kit by Model Shipways
The Charles W. Morgan is a whaler built at New Bedford, Massachusetts in 1841 that made 37 voyages over 80 years and is now preserved at Mystic Seaport. She was built ship rigged and later rerigged as a double topsail bark.
The 1:64 kit shows her as rigged from 1892 to 1908, with laser-cut basswood bulkheads, bow and stern filler blocks and copper sheathing, from plans by Ben Lankford based on the 1983 restoration drawings.
