Model boat kit
Endurance
Kit by Occre
Endurance was launched in 1912 as Polaris and became the ship of Ernest Shackleton's Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition in 1914; she was trapped and crushed by ice in the Weddell Sea and sank in 1915, and her wreck was found in 2022.
Occre's 1:70 kit (ref. 12008) uses laser cut hardwood sheets of several species with photo etched brass, zamak castings and cotton sails.
What building a Endurance actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
