Ciera

Built by Bayliner

Bayliner's long-running cabin cruiser: a sterndrive express with a V-berth, a small galley and a head. Thousands were built through the 1980s and 1990s, and they are now the cheapest way into a boat you can sleep aboard, with all that implies about stringers and soft decks.

Bayliner is Brunswick's volume brand and has sold more boats than almost anyone, which is why so many used ones exist and why they are such a common first restoration. They are built to a price, so the things to look at are the stringers, the transom and the deck core rather than the gelcoat.

What building a Ciera actually takes

Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
