Conquest

Built by Boston Whaler

The cabin boat in the range: an express fishing hull with an enclosed forward cabin, berth and head, so it will do an overnight as well as a long day offshore. Heavier and better sheltered than the Outrage it shares hulls with.

Every Whaler is built the same way, with foam injected between an inner and an outer fiberglass skin so the hull is structural and buoyant at once. That is why a swamped one floats, and it is also the thing to check on an older boat: foam that has taken on water adds hundreds of pounds and does not dry out, so weigh the hull rather than trusting the look of it.
