Flicka 20

Built by Pacific Seacraft

The Flicka 20 is a 20 foot full-keel pocket cruiser designed by Bruce Bingham in 1974. It was built in fiberglass by Nor'Star and then by Pacific Seacraft until 1998, and was also home-built from Bingham's plans, with around 400 made in total. The boat is beamy and heavy for its length: 8 ft of beam, 3 ft 3 in draft, roughly 5,500 to 6,000 lb displacement with about 1,750 lb of lead ballast, and around 250 sq ft of sail in a cutter rig. The waterline is about 18 ft 2 in. It has a reputation as a very able, comfortable small bluewater cruiser, with near standing headroom that is unusual in a 20 footer.
