The long-running express cruiser name, covering a whole family of sterndrive and inboard cabin boats from the 1980s onward. One of the most numerous cruisers on the used market and a common refit project.
Sea Ray build in Knoxville, Tennessee and are Brunswick's premium runabout and cruiser brand. Build quality and fitout sit well above the volume boats, and the larger cruisers hold up accordingly. They have been built in very large numbers since 1959, so parts and canvas are easier to find than for most boats of the same age, and a tired one is usually worth refitting rather than breaking.
