Bull's Eye
Designed by Glen-L Marine
An 11 ft stitch-and-glue skiff from Glen-L Marine for oars, a 3 hp outboard or sail, with three rig options on the same plans: a free-standing cat rig, a stayed sloop, or a traditional sprit rig with wooden spars that stow in the boat. The planking is cut from standard sheets, assembled flat and folded into a vee-bottomed hull with rounded forward sections; over 25 full-size patterns.
Glen-L calls it an ideal first project, and the Fast-G stitch-and-glue method is the easiest in the catalog. Allow 50 to 100 hours plus rig. Real build times from logs kept here are below.
What building a Bull's Eye actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
