Key Largo
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 19 ft 1 in, or 20 ft, sport-utility barrelback mahogany runabout from Glen-L Marine on the proven Barrelback 19 hull, with one big open cockpit instead of two, easier motor access and room for skis and fishing gear. The same cold-molded wood, plywood and veneer construction and the same barrelback stern.
Well suited to the average do-it-yourself builder, and the same long finishing stage as any bright-finished classic. Budget 900 to 1,600 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
What building a Key Largo actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
