Saboteer
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 9 ft 7 in sail-or-row pram from Glen-L Marine, a larger, better-performing sibling of the Sabotina in quarter-inch plywood, with a kick-up rudder, a two-part free-standing wooden mast and a sleeved sail. Three sheets of plywood build it, and it car-tops.
Built over a simple jig and three temporary forms from full-size patterns, with no lofting. Allow 60 to 120 hours plus rig. Real hours from logged builds are below.
What building a Saboteer actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
