A 9 ft 7 in sail-or-row pram from Glen-L Marine, a larger, better-performing sibling of the Sabotina in quarter-inch plywood, with a kick-up rudder, a two-part free-standing wooden mast and a sleeved sail. Three sheets of plywood build it, and it car-tops. Glen-L publish a beam of 4 ft 8 in and a hull depth of 19-1/2 in.
They put the usual load at 2 to 3 people. Sail area is 59 sq ft. The hull is a pram with vee bottom, hard chine developed for sheet plywood planking. For power they specify 3 HP. They draw a matching trailer for her. Built over a simple jig and three temporary forms from full-size patterns, with no lofting. Allow 60 to 120 hours plus rig.
