Sorrento
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 36 ft sedan cabin cruiser from Glen-L Marine with a full planing hull, double-diagonal plywood bottom and sheet plywood sides, three staterooms for three couples, a midships U-shaped galley, a convertible dinette and a deckhouse helm with all-round visibility. Single or twin inboards; about 15,600 lb.
A large amateur project with a double-diagonal bottom to plank. Expect 4,000 to 6,000 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
What building a Sorrento actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
