Yukon
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 35 ft 8 in cruising trawler yacht from Glen-L Marine, semi-displacement to 10 knots on a single 100 hp diesel, with three staterooms each with its own head, a deckhouse galley, dual helms, flying bridge and walkaround decks. Build in plywood or one-off fiberglass; about 17,400 lb.
Hard-chine plywood keeps a 36-footer within reach of a dedicated amateur, but the interior is a house. Expect 4,000 to 6,000 hours over many years. Median hours and months from logged builds show below.
What building a Yukon actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
