Stiletto
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 16 ft outboard ski boat from Glen-L Marine styled like the fast inboard ski boats, with flaring sides that add buoyancy at the transom and act as anti-trip chines in hard turns. Vee-bottomed sheet plywood, about 440 lb, outboards to 100 hp.
Designed for the amateur with full-size patterns, and Glen-L promises a result hard to tell from a factory boat. Budget 300 to 500 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
What building a Stiletto actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
