Tug Along

A 16 or 18 ft stitch-and-glue mini tug yacht from Glen-L Marine with a 7 ft 9 in beam, 6 ft 6 in cabin headroom, a small galley, space for a portable head, a helm station and a lengthened vee berth. The rounded stern conceals a short-shaft outboard in a partial tunnel and is not hard to build with the patterns.

A flat-bottomed sheet plywood hull that Glen-L puts within anyone's ability, followed by a lot of house. Budget 500 to 900 hours. Real hours from logged builds show below.
