Model boat kit
Bluenose
Kit by Billing Boats
Bluenose was a Grand Banks fishing schooner designed by William Roue and built at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia in 1921. She fished in season and won the International Fishermen's Trophy against American schooners through the 1920s and 1930s. She was wrecked on a reef off Haiti in 1946, and she has been on the Canadian dime since 1937.
Billing Boats offers her as a 1:65 kit with a wooden hull, giving a model 76 cm long. It is rated Advanced Beginner, the second of Billing's four experience levels.
