Model boat kit
Erycina Plymouth Trawler
Kit by Vanguard Models
Erycina was a Plymouth sailing trawler designed by H.V. Prigg and built as a cutter in 1882, later converted to ketch rig, and she fished the south west coast for over 50 years.
The 1:64 kit has 16 bulkheads slotted into the keel, double planking in lime and pear and laser-etched maple decks. A sewn sail set is sold separately.
What building a Erycina Plymouth Trawler actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
