Basic yuloh scared from 1 1/2 x 3" western red cedar. 16 ' long with 14 degree bend.
The scarf is 15" long with a wedge glued in to get enough angle with out making the joint too short. The cedar scantlings are the timber I had at hand, I will add a couple of lamination to get final size
