The gondola is the traditional rowed boat of the Venetian canals, built asymmetrically so a single oarsman can steer it.

Amati's 1:22 kit is part of its First Step series and uses a laser-cut keel and frames. Alpacca bow and stern irons, a resin forcola, fabric coverings and a metal lantern are included.
