Model boat kit
HMS Speedy 1782
Kit by Vanguard Models
Speedy was a small Royal Navy brig best known as Thomas Cochrane's first command, during which she took the Spanish frigate Gamo in 1801.
The 1:64 kit uses closely spaced bulkheads, lime first planking and pear second planking, with pear laser-cut parts and an engraved deck. Resin cannon, a resin figure of Cochrane and copper tape for the lower hull are supplied.
