C&C 29
Built by C&C
A 29 ft 7 in masthead sloop designed by C&C Design, built from 1977 to 1981. She carries 10 ft 4 in beam, 5 ft 3 in draft and 7,500 lb displacement. Hull form is fin with a spade rudder. About 600 were built.
C&C Yachts of Ontario built fast, handsome cruiser-racers from 1969 and dominated Great Lakes racing for two decades. The original company failed in the 1990s and the name has changed hands since. The figures below come from owners who logged work on this boat here.
What building a C&C 29 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
