Production model
Hunter 18
Built by Hunter
A 18 ft 5 in fractional sloop designed by Hunter Design Team, built from 2011. She carries 7 ft 2 in beam, 4 ft 6 in draft and 836 lb displacement. Hull form is swing keel with outboard rudder.
Narrow and short enough to trailer behind an ordinary vehicle without a permit, which is most of the appeal of a boat this size. Hunter built in Alachua, Florida and aimed at volume production cruising boats with generous accommodation for the length. They are plentiful and affordable on the used market, and the brand continued as Marlow-Hunter after 2012. The figures below come from owners who logged work on this boat here.

Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
