A Carolina style offshore sportfisherman by Graham Byrnes of B&B Yacht Designs, first drawn in 2008 with Capt. Buck Wilde and Diamond City Boatworks of Beaufort, North Carolina. It measures 30 ft 8 in over the hull and bracket, with a 10 ft beam, 19 degrees of transom deadrise, 250 gallons of fuel and up to 600 hp. Hull number one reached 47 knots with twin 300s. The bottom is plywood and the sides are now cold molded, and B&B cuts a CNC kit.
This is the largest powerboat in the B&B range and a project for an experienced builder or a small professional yard, several of which have built it. Expect 3,000 to 5,000 hours or more. Measured medians from build logs appear below.
