Jack Tar

Designed by Glen-L Marine

A 31 ft 1 in long-range cruising trawler yacht from Glen-L Marine that will run over 1,000 miles on one fill using about 45 hp at 9 knots. A genuine triple-cabin boat sleeping five, with an owner's aft cabin and head with shower, deckhouse galley and inside helm. Sheet plywood topsides with a double-diagonal plywood bottom, or one-off fiberglass.

A serious multi-year amateur build. Expect 3,000 to 4,500 hours. Measured medians from logged builds show below.
