A long, lean 7.3 m (24 ft) centre console from Mark Bowdidge of Bowdidge Marine Designs, Australia, for anglers, divers and island hopping. On a beam of only 2.03 m she is easily driven: 90 to 130 hp is all the designer calls for. Deadrise is 19 degrees amidships and 10 at the transom, with wide chine flats for lift, and draft is about 305 mm. A 100 litre tank is the minimum, and ready-to-fish trailer weight is put at about 992 kg.
Construction is plywood with epoxy and fibreglass from 15 plan sheets, a modest set for the length, which reflects the simple open layout. Some previous building experience would help at this size. No designer hours exist; allow 800 to 1,400. Real hours from logged builds are below.
