The Voyager 432 is Bruce Roberts-Goodson's steel and aluminium version of the Roberts 432, a long keel, centre cockpit cruiser. The earlier designs it comes from were first drawn in 1969, and he counts over 2,000 of them in service around the world. She is 46 ft 3 in (14.10 m) on deck and 38 ft (11.59 m) on the waterline, with a 14 ft 3 in (4.34 m) beam and a 6 ft (1.80 m) draft, and the centre cockpit layout allows several accommodation plans so the interior can be arranged for long range cruising.
The hull is a radius chine form in steel or aluminium, and the design was drawn to provide cutting files, so the plates can be machine cut rather than lofted by hand; the study plans include material lists and step by step assembly photos. Owners' letters on the designer's page include a builder in Alaska who sailed his some 10,000 miles, and a hull, deck and superstructure built by Bruce Roberts Europe in Holland for a client in England.
