Czarinna 30
Designed by Sam Devlin
A 29 ft 10 in displacement motor yacht by Sam Devlin with a plumb bow and fantail stern. A raised pilothouse forward holds the helm and galley, and the saloon aft has 6 ft 4 in headroom, two 68 in settee berths, a folding table, a solid-fuel heater and a head that converts to a shower. Twin 18 hp Yanmar diesels under the settees push her 8,900 lb at 7 knots on about two-thirds of a gallon an hour.
Full construction plans are sold in imperial units. The rounded fantail and twin inboards put this stitch and glue build in experienced hands. As a rule of thumb, expect 3,500 to 5,000 hours. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.
What building a Czarinna 30 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
