A 43 ft 9 in sportfishing boat from Glen-L Marine, cold-molded in plywood strips or wood veneers over frames and longitudinals, or one-off fiberglass, with a deep-vee bulbous entry that flattens aft for economy and a stable fishing platform. Twin inboards for 15 to 22 knots, berths for four to six, about 30,600 lb.
A boatyard-scale project for an amateur, and Glen-L says construction is aimed at exactly that builder. Expect 7,000 hours or more. Median hours and months from logged builds appear below.
