A 24 ft 1 in trailerable commercial fishing trawler from Glen-L Marine with a 140 cu ft hold for a couple of tons of fish, a steadying sail, long deep keel, high freeboard and watertight decks. It burns a little over a gallon of diesel an hour for about 500 miles of range; sleeps two. Hard-chine semi-displacement plywood hull for easy construction. Glen-L publish a beam of 8 ft 0 in and a hull depth of 6 ft 9 in.
The bare hull comes out at about 1600 lb. Displacement is 5532 lb. Headroom below is 6'-1". A working boat built for an amateur to build and then earn with. Budget 1,000 to 1,800 hours. Real hours from logged builds show below.
