Noyo Trawler
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 24 ft 1 in trailerable commercial fishing trawler from Glen-L Marine with a 140 cu ft hold for a couple of tons of fish, a steadying sail, long deep keel, high freeboard and watertight decks. It burns a little over a gallon of diesel an hour for about 500 miles of range; sleeps two. Hard-chine semi-displacement plywood hull for easy construction.
A working boat built for an amateur to build and then earn with. Budget 1,000 to 1,800 hours. Real hours from logged builds show below.
What building a Noyo Trawler actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
