A 49 ft world-cruising ketch from Glen-L Marine with clipper bow, bowsprit, taffrails and turned stanchions, berths for four or five couples with heads placed for privacy, wide bulwarked decks and room for a 10 ft dinghy. Cold-molded round-bilge hull with a choice of long keel or fin and skeg, 40 to 70 hp engine on a vee drive.
A professional-scale project. Expect 8,000 hours or more, and plan the shed accordingly. Real hours from logged builds show below.
