Utility

Designed by Glen-L Marine

An 11 ft vee-bottomed outboard utility boat from Glen-L Marine with a wide, stable beam, light enough to car-top at about 140 lb, and rated to 10 hp. Three sheets of quarter-inch plywood plank it, with the forward bottom laid as one slit sheet so there is no keel joint.

Easy and inexpensive, and drawn with the amateur in mind throughout. Allow 80 to 150 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
