An 11 ft vee-bottomed outboard utility boat from Glen-L Marine with a wide, stable beam, light enough to car-top at about 140 lb, and rated to 10 hp. Three sheets of quarter-inch plywood plank it, with the forward bottom laid as one slit sheet so there is no keel joint. Glen-L publish a beam of 5 ft 0 in and a hull depth of 26 in.
They put the usual load at 1 to 3 people. The hull is a vee bottom hard chine developed for sheet plywood planking. They draw a matching trailer for her. Easy and inexpensive, and drawn with the amateur in mind throughout. Allow 80 to 150 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
