Dyno Jet
Designed by Glen-L Marine
An 11 ft 1 in stitch-and-glue deep-vee jet runabout from Glen-L Marine, powered by the jet pump from a damaged personal watercraft, up to 50 hp. A 12 degree vee with built-in chine flats, three sheets of quarter-inch plywood, about 125 lb, and full-size patterns for nearly every part.
Easy to build: bend around a single form, stitch and glue, then fit the salvaged pump. Allow 100 to 180 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
What building a Dyno Jet actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
