Yankee Star
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 40 ft cruising yacht from Glen-L Marine that pairs a traditional look with a moderate-displacement fin-keel, skeg-rudder hull, in cold-molded wood. Two double staterooms at opposite ends of the boat, each with its own head and shower, dual companionways, berths for eight, and a ketch or cutter rig with bowsprit.
A very large cold-molded build with an elaborate interior. Expect 5,000 hours or more over many years. The medians below are from real logged builds.
What building a Yankee Star actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
