Klickitat
Designed by Ray Klebba
The Klickitat is Ray Klebba's 17 ft by 30 in canoe for paddlers who want speed and stability on long trips. She has a shallow arch hull with flare and no rocker at all, so she tracks hard and holds her pace with a load aboard, and Klebba credits her with good manoeuvrability for all that.
The design page is brief and gives no weight, depth or capacity, so a builder comparing options will learn more from the plans themselves than from the description. Like the rest of the White Salmon Boat Works fleet she is a cedar strip canoe, sold as full size plans or as a basic or complete kit from the shop in White Salmon, Washington, which also runs building workshops for its designs.
What building a Klickitat actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.

If you are building one, yours becomes the reference: the page the next person building this boat finds when they search for it. One photo and one line is a valid first entry.
